There’s much to run from, in the Underworld...

For Zagreus, it‘s his father; his oppressive home; his responsibilities; his relationships; the advances of Death himself, Thanatos… who Zagreus turns down, hoping to offset the pain of his inevitable departure from Hell. 

But Zagreus has second thoughts, which he copes with by running further: He throws himself not only into his escape attempts, but also into investigating the connection between his close friend and mentor, Achilles, and a mysterious shade languishing in Elysium. Though, as he works to unravel their history, Zagreus cannot keep his thoughts from straying to Achilles, who also seems unfocused… 

Achilles is running, too. Most immediately, from Zagreus’ attempts to reunite him with his better half, bound to Elysium. Zagreus’ digging unearths memories long-buried from another life, agitating Achilles’ fear that forgiveness for his past wrongs is out of his reach. Yet, as Zagreus’ investigation draw them closer, it soon becomes clear that his fascination reaches beyond Achilles’ history to Achilles, himself. Now, Achilles has a new worry to run from: his growing, undeniable feelings for Zagreus.
